Mangalore Original Mask from The Fifth Element

This hero Mangalore screen used head (complete with goggles!), is from luc Besson's sci-fi movie. It is painstakingly detailed made by Nick Dudman's team of a special natural-skin silicone to be worn by the actors. Unlike many masks or head pieces, this one takes on a life of its own, and looks just a “real” in person, as on the screen. It is set on a specially crafted protective bust which it sat on between takes on the set.
