Angoulème

Jean Frisano is unknown to the general public. However, his colorful gouaches remain imprinted on the retinas of thousands of French people who discovered the Marvel superheroes in the 1970s and 1980s with Strange magazine published by LUG. It was he who, in fact, made most of the covers. The Angoulême Festival pays tribute to him with this exhibition.
