Dan Weil

Dan Weil is one of the great Production Designer in France.

He made his debut in 1984 with Luc Besson with the music video « Pull Marine » with Isabelle Adjani, and worked with the cult director/producer on many films such as Kamizaze, The Big Blue, La Femme Nikita, Léon : The Professional and The Fifth Element for which he won a French Academy Awars : César.

After he works on many films outside France like The Bourne Identity and American Made by Doug Liman, King Arthur by Antoine Fuqua, Syriana by Stephen Gaghan, Blood Diamond and Defiance by Edward Zwick, Grace of Monaco by Olivier Dahan.

20 years after The Fifth Element, he returned to science fiction with Chaos Walking by Doug Liman, for which he designed the sets for the third time.
