In 1987, NASA sent Captain William "Buck" Rogers in space mission aboard the spacecraft Ranger 3. The vessel is accidentally deflected from its course by a meteor shower and after which, the pilot is put into "suspended animation". It is recovered 500 years later, in the year 2491, by the alien diplomatic vessel, the Draconia, on board which the beautiful and evil Princess Ardala, tries to become master of the galaxy. Back on Earth, Buck Rogers realizes that things have changed. To better understand the dangers of the XXV century, the authorities put him at his disposal two small robots, Twiki and Dr Theopolis, as well as Colonel Wilma Deering. Together they will try to stop the plans of the warlike Princess Ardala.
