Original B-Wing Fighter Pilot Prototype Helmet

An original B-Wing pilot prototype helmet made by Pete Ronzani (ILM) for Richard Marquand’s Star Wars: Episode VI Return of the Jedi.

The Rebel Alliance’s B-Wing fighter pilots wore their helmets while trying to take down Death Star II during the Battle of Endor. Some B-wing pilot helmets were seen with a visors or a blast shields.

This helmet is constructed of vacuform plastic, with loose wiring on the helmet intended to connect to a microphone.
