Original Red Space Jumpsuit

This is an original red Jumpsuit from Steven Spielberg's blockbuster movie Close Encounters Of The Third Kind. A selected group of humans were selected to join the so called “Mayflower project" and were chosen by the aliens at the end of the movie to step aboard the Mother ship and leave planet Earth forever. This same jumpsuit was also used 18 months later after the release of Close Encounters Of The Third Kind when Steven Spielberg started filming the “Special Edition” where he wanted the audience to experience how the Mother ship looked from the inside and “Roy Neary” was seen to climb aboard. The suit was manufactured by Bowler's shirt & uniform CO. Inc. Los Angeles.
